Daily maintenance

The relevant personnel of the water cutting machine manufacturer should clean the machine tool and guide rail every day after finishing the processing Keep clean; pay attention to whether the power supply and air source are turned off; if there is residual air in the pipe belt of the cutting machine, empty it; if the machine is not used for a long time, turn off the power supply in time; also pay attention to whether the lubrication of the transverse and longitudinal guide rails and rack surface is good.


Weekly maintenance

In fact, it's almost the same, that is, if the horizontal and vertical rail wiper of the water jet cutting machine is abnormal, it should be replaced in time; the cutting torch is loose, the garbage at the ignition muzzle and the automatic height adjustment device should be paid attention to.

Monthly maintenance

That is to summarize the daily and weekly maintenance work of the water knife cutting machine, and conduct a complete inspection of the whole equipment, not every part.

1. Familiar with water jet from water jet cutter nozzle. Open the water flow under low pressure for observation. The flow should be symmetrical and its width depends on the type of nozzle used. The water flow of ruby and sapphire nozzles is slightly wider, while that of diamond nozzle is narrower and more consistent. If the water flow begins to widen, the nozzle is damaged and should be replaced immediately. Damaged nozzles (or misplaced pipes) can cause internal damage to the cutting head.

2. Regularly check the cutting head for signs of wear or damage (often due to accidental contact with parts or fixtures). For example, accidental contact of the mixing tube with the fixture can damage the nozzle nut and internal parts that keep the mixing tube aligned.

3. Check the system and keep it in good working condition, so as to make the water knife cutting operation more effective and prolong the service life of its components. Regular inspection and replacement of consumable parts of sand conveying system, such as pipes and joints. Make sure that no part of the sand conveying system below the bottom of the micro hopper is exposed to air. To do this check, disconnect the sand delivery line from the joint at the bottom of the micro hopper, manually open the jet and place your thumb on one end of the sand delivery line. You will feel that there is enough (but not too much) vacuum, which may dent the tip of your thumb. Insufficient vacuum may indicate that the inlet of the cutting head is blocked or the sand conveying pipeline has cracks, which must be solved to give full play to the efficiency of the system.
